Neuropsychologist
We can’t always choose what happens to us in life; but we can choose how we respond, and who we gather to walk the road alongside us.
Loren is an experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist offering cognitive assessment and individually-tailored cognitive rehabilitation. She works in private practice at Saje Woollahra and in the specialist Memory and Cognition Clinic at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She has over 15 years’ experience as a clinician and researcher in cognition, ageing, and rehabilitation at the Brain & Mind Centre (University of Sydney), with over 75 peer-reviewed publications. Loren offers a warm, person-centred, evidence-based approach to neuropsychological care. Assessments help to characterise cognitive strengths and weaknesses, informing diagnosis and management of underlying conditions. Neuropsychological intervention relies on evidence-based techniques, such as tailored recommendations for optimising brain health and daily functioning, and guided practice in compensatory or restorative strategies targeting personally relevant goals. She accepts referrals relating to: • cognitive concerns, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and dementia • psychological conditions (e.g. depression, anxiety) • neurological disease (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease) • medical conditions (e.g. vascular disease, kidney disease, alcohol/substance use) • decision-making capacity • workers compensation & insurance. Qualifications: D.Psych Clin Neuro (Macquarie Univ); B.Psych Hons (UNSW); AHPRA-registered Clinical Neuropsychologist; APS; CCN; NAN; SIRA-registered allied health practitioner.
